Job summary

TipTopJob in Forest Row is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our caring early years team. You will provide high-quality care and education aligned with EYFS, act as Key Person for a small group, and build strong relationships with children and families.

We offer a permanent full-time contract, competitive hourly pay of £14.00–£16.00, ongoing training, and a supportive, collaborative environment that values your contribution.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Early Years Educator / Childcare qualification.
• Proven nursery experience.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding understanding.
• Full-time availability Mon-Fri 8:00–18:00.
• Enhanced DBS check required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver high:quality care and early education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Act as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking their progress and creating engaging, stimulating learning opportunities.
• Build strong, trusting, and professional relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children at all times.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Educator / Childcare qualification (or equivalent recognised standard).
• Experience: Proven experience working in a nursery or professional early years setting.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of EYFS, child development principles, and robust safeguarding protocols.
• Commitment: Ability to work full:time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM : 6:00 PM.
• Compliance: Must hold an Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the Update Service) or be willing to undergo one prior to starting.
