Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a full-time role in Horley. You will deliver high-quality care and early education, acting as a Key Person and fostering strong relationships with families while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate has Level 3 Early Years Educator qualifications, nursery experience, and a solid understanding of EYFS and safeguarding policies. DBS clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Act as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking their progress and creating engaging, stimulating learning opportunities.
• Build strong, trusting, and professional relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children at all times.
• Adhere strictly to all health & safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Educator / Childcare qualification (or equivalent recognised standard).
• Experience: Proven experience working in a nursery or professional early years setting.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of EYFS, child development principles, and robust safeguarding protocols.
• Commitment: Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
• Compliance: Must hold an Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the Update Service) or be willing to undergo one prior to starting.
