Job summary

Fawkes & Reece requires a Vinyl Floor Layer to work on tenanted and voided properties in Chesterfield, laying vinyl safety floors in bathrooms and wet rooms with cap &cove. The role runs 37.5 hours weekly, 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday, in a reputable social housing contractor team.

Applicants should have a CSCS card, social housing experience, and be prepared to provide two references. UKATA asbestos awareness or online course completion is required, and transport to site is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a floor layer in social housing projects.
• CSCS Card held or readily obtainable.
• UKATA Asbestos Awareness or willingness to complete online course.
• Own transport to move materials to sites.
• Able to provide two checkable references.

Responsibilities

• Install vinyl safety floors in bathrooms and wet rooms in Chesterfield.
• Work in void and tenanted properties on regulated schemes.
• Ensure floors are fitted as safety and cap & cove compliant.
• 37.5 hours per week, 8:00–16:00, Monday–Friday with 30-minute break.

Vinyl Floor Layer required to work on tenanted and voided properties in Chesterfield. You will be laying down vinyl safety floors in bathrooms/wet rooms.

The Client

Our client is an award-winning sub-contractor who specialises in regeneration projects and operates nationwide.

The Role

Main duties are going into void and tenanted properties in Chesterfield and installing vinyl safety floors in bathrooms and wet rooms. The floors will be safety and cap&cove.

The total hours are 37.5 per week, 8am - 4:00pm with a 30-minute break - Monday to Friday.

• Street Parking
• Work with a reputable social housing contractor who work on various schemes in the Yorkshire and Midlands region
• Regular work on a week-to-week basis, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• CSCS Card
• Previous experience as a Floor Layer
• Social housing experience
• Own Transport to fit materials in
• UKATA Asbestos Awareness or be willing to take the online course
• Willing to be clean shaven to be face fit tested
• You must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before.
