Job summary

Liberty Gas Group is seeking an experienced Floor Layer for our Responsive Repairs team in Salford. The role covers flooring installations and repairs across occupied social housing properties, using vinyl, carpet, tiles, linoleum and timber products, delivering high quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 2/3 in Floor laying, a full UK driving licence and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 (or recognised apprenticeship) in Floor laying.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience across all aspects of floor laying and flooring repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Installing, renewing and repairing wet room floors
• Install and repair a wide range of flooring materials, including vinyl, carpet, tiles and timber
• Prepare subfloors and surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes
• Carry out fitting, finishing and refurbishment works in domestic properties
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Plan jobs effectively and manage materials and equipment

Are you an experienced Floor Layer looking for a secure full time role with opportunities to progress? At Liberty, we're looking for a skilled Floor Layer to join our team, delivering high-quality flooring and maintenance work across occupied social housing properties.

We're looking for an experienced Floor layer to join our Responsive Repairs team, carrying out high-quality flooring installations and repairs across domestic and commercial properties. You'll work with a variety of materials including vinyl, carpet, Polysafe, linoleum, rubber flooring and timber-based products, delivering excellent workmanship and customer service every day.

What you’ll be doing:

• Installing, renewing and repairing wet room floors
