GXO Logistics Ltd is recruiting for HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers to support Breedon Cement deliveries from our Hope Valley depot. Training will be provided for powder tanker operations. This is a full-time, permanent role with Monday to Friday work and a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week.

• Class 1 tanker driving experience is essential.

• Perform single drop deliveries (typically 2–3 per shift) from the Hope Valley depot.

C+E Class 1 Tanker Driver

Here at GXO Hope Valley Derbyshire S33 6RP, we are currently recruiting for HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers to join our transport team supporting our customer, Breedon Cement. If you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to develop your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Don’t worry if you haven’t operated a powder tanker before, we will provide all the training and support you’ll need to get out on the road and make deliveries.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, minimum of 48 hours per week guaranteed pay, with start times generally between 04:00 to 06:00 with paid breaks!

£43,056.00 per annum (based on 50 hours per week)

£16.56 per hour

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Single drop deliveries (typically between 2 and 3 per shift) from our Hope Valley depot to manufacturing and construction industry customers
• Load and discharge powder products (predominantly cement) under pressure from tanker to silo
• Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues and provide exceptional service to our customers
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
