Job summary

GXO Logistics is recruiting a Class 1 Driver to join our Tarmac team in East Aberthaw, Barry CF62 3ZR. This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday with a 05:00 start and a 40-hour week. You will trunk and load bulk cement tanks and tautliners, support deliveries across South Wales and the South West of England, and complete required delivery records.

Full bulk discharge training is provided. We offer £16.61 per hour paid weekly, 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a workplace

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience driving articulated Class 1 vehicles preferred
• Physically fit and able to handle equipment safely

Responsibilities

• Trunking and loading bulk cement tanks and tautliners of palletised cement from Aberthaw
• Full bulk discharge training provided
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
• Complete all required documentation and delivery records accurately

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) UK driving licence

• Previous experience driving articulated class 1 vehicles preferred
• Strong understanding of health and safety proceduresPhysically fit and capable of handling equipment safely
