Job summary

GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. is seeking drivers for HGV Category C+E (Class 1) powder tanker duties at our Dagenham depot. You will handle deliveries to cement customers with full training provided and a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week.

Start times typically between 04:00 and 06:00 with paid breaks. The role is full-time and permanent, with ongoing CPC training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Single drop deliveries (typically between 2 and 3 per shift) from our Dagenham depot to manufacturing and construction industry customers.
• Load and discharge powder products (predominantly cement) under pressure from tanker to silo.
• Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues and provide exceptional service to our customers.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner, ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time.

Here at GXO Dagenham, RM9 6PR, we are currently recruiting for HGV Category C+E (Class 1) powder tanker drivers to join our transport team supporting our customer, Breedon Cement. Don't worry if you haven't operated a powder tanker before, we will provide all the training and support you'll need to get out on the road and making deliveries.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 48 hours per week guaranteed pay. Start times are generally between 04:00 and 06:00, with paid breaks.
