Job summary

The Education Network is recruiting an SEN Class Teacher for an immediate start at a nurturing and supportive school in England. This role covers KS2 & KS3, focusing on children with SEND, EHCPs and SEMH needs, with an emphasis on holistic, well-being centred education.

The role involves team teaching in small classes, differentiating lessons, and working closely with senior leaders to foster a caring, inclusive environment where every child can make real progress.

Qualifications

SEN Class Teacher - When you think SEN School you may think SEN or SEMH provision for children and young adults. But what do you actually know about the school? We are supporting this school by recruiting an SEN Class Teacher for an immediate start. This setting works to primary-style model across KS2 & KS3, supporting children with SEND, Autism, Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Importantly they offer educational support and care within and beyond the school gates, not to mention a smile for every child.

The role:

• Working as part of a great team teaching small classes across KS2 & KS3.
• Planning lessons that differentiate for individual needs and learning capability.
• Prioritising well-being, social and emotional health in the classroom.
• Collaborating with the SLT to create a holistic learning environment where every child matters.
• Enabling progress, recognising, and rewarding progress even if it is just with a smile. It matters.
