Job summary

The Education Network is seeking an SEN Class Teacher for an immediate start at a welcoming Gloucestershire-area school. You will work with small classes across KS2 and KS3, planning differentiated lessons and prioritising wellbeing for students with SEND, EHCPs and SEMH needs.

Qualifications

• QTS certification and eligibility to teach in the UK.
• Experience supporting children with SEN and SEMH is desirable.

SEN Class Teacher - When you think SEN School you may think SEN or SEMH provision for children and young adults. But what do you actually know about the school? We are supporting this school by recruiting an SEN Class Teacher for an immediate start. This setting works to primary-style model across KS2 & KS3, supporting children with SEND, Autism, Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Importantly they offer educational support and care within and beyond the school gates, not to mention a smile for every child.

The role:

• Working as part of a great team teaching small classes across KS2 & KS3.
• Planning lessons that differentiate for individual needs and learning capability.
• Prioritising well-being, social and emotional health in the classroom.
• Collaborating with the SLT to create a holistic learning environment where every child matters.
• Enabling progress, recognising, and rewarding progress even if it is just with a smile. It matters.
