Health & Social Care Services Ltd is recruiting confident and passionate nurses to support a tetraplegic service user in Dorset. The role requires accompanying him on work trips and abroad, with the care team rotating to accompany him on international travel.

The service user is a former military member and entrepreneur who travels frequently for work and leisure. A £150 joining bonus is offered to start before making a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Support your service user with their physical care needs, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
• Deliver person-centered care according to bespoke care plans.
• Promote independence and respect each service user's spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.
• Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.
• Contribute to a supportive, high-standard care environment.

We are recruiting confident and passionate nurses for our Dorset service user. Whilst he is tetraplegic, he is a very busy and accomplished man. As someone who served in the military, an ardent motocross rider, surfer, and all-round adrenaline junkie, we are looking for equally strong and determined healthcare professionals to join his team.

He is the co-founder of an extreme sports brand with a difference; not only do they create innovative products for fellow extreme sports enthusiasts, but they support underprivileged children and discharged members of the Armed Forces. As such our service user requires a team who will accompany him to work, and on business trips. He is a motivational speaker, and specialist in his field, and often travels outside of UK for both work and leisure. His care team rotates to go abroad to support him.

His aim is to support and empower individuals who have faced adversity, encouraging them to find the courage, strength, and resilience to overcome challenges and emerge stronger than ever. We are looking for a team who will support and empower him too.
