Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking compassionate care staff to support elderly residents in a home setting. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, personal care, moving and handling, and housekeeping, while maintaining residents' dignity.

Required DBS within 6 months or on update service, current safeguarding, infection control and moving and handling certificates, a full CV, and two years of employment history. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
• Up-to-date mandatory training certificates such as Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and Moving and Handling.
• Full up-to-date CV that we can forward to our client.
• Two year referenceable employment history.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities using a person-centred approach.
• Assist with mealtimes and feeding residents if required.
• Deliver hands-on support including personal care, moving and handling, and general housekeeping.
• Maintain accurate records and provide updates to senior team members using reporting systems.

You will be joining a welcoming, established team focused on delivering exceptional care to elderly residents living with age-related conditions. Dementia Care experience is desirable but not essential. You will be taking part in the daily activities around the home and you will be expected to perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning duties.

You will assist the established team to:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities using a person‑centred approach tailored to individual care packages, always maintaining their dignity.
• Assisting with mealtimes and feeding residents, if required.
• Delivering hands‑on support including personal care, moving and handling, and general housekeeping.
• Maintaining accurate records and providing clear updates to senior team members using their reporting systems.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
• If you do not have one, don’t panic we can assist you if you have the facilities to pay for one upfront.
• Up to date mandatory training certificates such as Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and Moving and Handling. If not, we can give you details of training platforms to assist you in obtaining these certificates
• Full up-to-date CV that we can forward to our client.
• A two year referenceable employment history.

This is an ongoing role that can become permanent for successful candidates.

You will be working from 1400 to 2200.

Other shifts are available on request.

The hourly rate is £13.50 with hours being paid weekly and holiday entitlement being accrued, up to a maximum of 28 days per year.
