Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited in Ollerton is seeking a caring and reliable care assistant to support adults in a supported-living home. You will assist with personal care, nutrition, and hygiene to enhance residents' quality of life and may join activities outside the home with staff support.

The position is ongoing and has the potential to become permanent. Working hours are 08:00–20:00, Monday and Friday, with weekend shifts and other options available on request.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months preferable on the update service.
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training is essential.
• A Referenceable work history.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.
• Certified Safety Intervention training is preferred but not a necessity.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with their personal care, always maintaining their dignity.
• Making sure all checks are completed and logged as per company requirements
• Report any findings on their logging systems.

Are you looking for work with an immediate start where part of your role is doing activities outside the home?

This is a supported-living home which caters for up to 14 adults living with a diagnosis of Autism, moderate to severe learning disability and additional severe and complex challenges.

This lovely care home is based within the Ollerton Area. In this role you will be looking after their residents, helping them with their everyday nutritional and hygiene needs enhancing their quality of life. This position promises to be rewarding, with each day being different from the next. And you will have the opportunity to take part in activities outside the home with the support of the regular staff.

Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months preferable on the update service. If not, don’t panic we can assist you to obtain one.


• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training is essential.
