Job summary

First Care Services Ltd is seeking Housekeeping Staff to improve residents' quality of life in our care home. Daily bedroom cleaning with monthly deep cleans, plus duties around the facility. Prior care experience is preferred but training will be provided.

The role includes weekend work and shift patterns may vary; 16-20 hours per week across 4/5 days. We require candidates who can work independently or as part of a team, with good communication and basic cleaning knowledge.

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit House Keeping Staff that want to make a real difference to our resident’s quality of life in our home.

We provide care for people with Dementia and Younger Adults with a range of mental health conditions. In the role you will need to ensure each residents bedroom is cleaned daily and deep cleaned monthly. Other housekeeping duties include cleaning of general area’s around the care home.

The position requires experience in a care setting as well as being a caring individual, experience; but this is not essential as training will be provided.

16-20 Hrs per week over 4/5 days a week. Job does involve weekend working.

Our shift patterns range from:

• 8am-12pm
• 9am – 1pm
• 10am- 2pm
• 7pm- 11pm

May vary based on residents needs.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and principles
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
