Job summary

Manpower Recruitment is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client. This is a full-time, 39-hour week, Monday to Friday, with early starts and a path to permanent employment.

You will drive a Class 2 vehicle for palletised deliveries to local markets and vendors, unload with an electric pallet truck, complete paperwork accurately, and follow driver regulations and road safety rules. Training on the pallet truck is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver regulations and road safety.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
• Experience in palletised or multi-drop deliveries is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle carrying palletised groupage deliveries to local markets and vendors.
• Using an electric pallet truck to unload pallets from the vehicle.
