Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for a temp-to-perm role in Mallusk. You will deliver palletised goods to local markets using an electric pallet truck and ensure paperwork is accurate.

Hours are 39 per week, Monday to Friday, with 6:00am starts; this is a full-time position with training and a long-term career path with a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Cat C) and CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Knowledge of driver regulations and road safety is essential.
• Experience with palletised or multi-drop deliveries is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle carrying palletised groupage deliveries.
• Deliver goods to local markets and vendors.
• Unload pallets using an electric pallet truck.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Temp to Permanent

Location: Mallusk
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Start Time: 6:00am until finish

Manpower Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client. This is an excellent temp-to-permanent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking driver looking for long-term employment.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle carrying palletised groupage deliveries
• Delivering goods to local markets and vendors
• Using an electric pallet truck to unload pallets from the vehicle
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
