Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing temporary work with a Midlands logistics client. The role covers store deliveries across the Midlands with roughly 16 pallets over 10–12 drops per day, starting at 6am.

You will unload using a pump truck, complete delivery paperwork accurately, and uphold safe, professional driving standards at all times. The position offers regular weekly pay and weekend-free weekdays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence (Cat C) with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• No more than 6 points and no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsements.

What's on offer?

• Shifts averaging 10 hours
• Paid weekly at £18.49 per hour - inclusive of holidays

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing store deliveries across the Midlands - 16 pallets over 10 to 12 drops per day
• Unloading using a pump truck
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
