Job summary

Boughey Distribution in Wardle/Nantwich is seeking Reach Truck Operatives for a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm. You will check stock, manage locations, pick, and handball.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck; refresher courses can be provided.
• Comfortable on your feet – this is a hands-on role that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Operating Reach Trucks in a safe and compliant manner.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Replenishing stock locations.
• Dispatching goods to customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader immediately.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy and look after welfare of yourself and others.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site across a number of different teams working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm.

Our Reach Truck Operatives work across a range of duties including but not limited to checking stock, goods and location controlling, picking and handballing.

Day to Day

• Operating Reach Trucks in a safe and compliant manner.

What will you bring?

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck: refresher courses can be provided if your license is expired or was held only in house!
• Comfortable on your feet - this is a hands-on role that involves lifting and carrying.
