Job summary

Boughey Distribution is hiring at its Nantwich site for a warehouse role on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern from 6am to 6pm. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, complete paperwork, and ensure safe handling of stock.

Familiarity with a warehouse environment is helpful; training is provided. The role is hands-on, physically demanding, and requires strong teamwork and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environment beneficial.
• Able to be on foot for long periods.
• Comfortable with lifting and carrying.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and locating stock as required.
• Packing orders for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to customers.
• Completing paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products safely.
• Report shortages and damages to Team Leader.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our Warehousing teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm.

Day to Day

• Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.

What will you bring?

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is advantageous but full training is provided!
• Comfortable on your feet – this is a hands-on role that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Strong communicationskills.
• Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.
