Job summary

Boughey Distribution is expanding its warehouse teams and recruiting for a Wardle site role on a 4 on 4 off day shift, 6am to 6pm. Weekly pay at £13.18 per hour with enhanced overtime at £19.77 per hour. Training opportunities and a wide range of employee benefits are available.

Day-to-day duties include picking, packing, dispatching and stock control, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy. A supportive team environment and progression paths within the group are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments is beneficial, full training provided.
• Ability to lift and carry as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and locating stock.
• Packing orders for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to customers.
• Completing paperwork and documentation as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products safely.
• Report shortages and damages to Team Leader.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our Warehousing teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm.

Day to Day

• Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company's Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.

What will you bring?

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is advantageous but full training is provided!
• Comfortable on your feet - this is a hands-on role that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Strong communicationskills.
• Computer literate.
• Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.
