Job summary

Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking a Reablement Support Worker to work mornings within The Bradford Reablement Service. The role covers all areas of the Bradford district and aims to help clients regain independence while delivering care with dignity and respect.

We require a full UK driving licence (transport provided) and a commitment to working towards a QCF level 2 diploma in health and social care.

Qualifications

• Ability to support with daily living tasks and community-based care.
• Willingness to work towards QCF level 2 diploma in health and social care.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be undertaken for this post.

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Reablement Support Worker to work mornings within The Bradford Reablement Service for Bradford Metropolitan District Council in all areas of the Bradford district.

These roles are an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

The main responsibilities of this role:

• Re-able individuals in community settings
• To support with daily living tasks
• Document accurate records on digital devices
• Support with personal cares
• Support individuals to regain independence
• Treat individuals with dignity and respect

Service provision operates on a a 2-week rolling rota as follows:

Week one: Monday, Saturday, Sunday

The work schedule is 07:30 hrs to 12.30 hrs on each of these days; we are unable to condense hours into fewer working days.

Driving licence

You will need a full UK (manual) driving licence for these roles. (Transport is provided).

Qualification

You must be willing to work towards QCF level 2 diploma in health and social care.
