Westmorland and Furness Council in Cumbria is seeking a Reablement Support Worker to help people regain independence at home. This permanent role offers 18–30 hours per week with a pay rate of £13.91 per hour and a supportive team across Allerdale and Copeland.
You will work shifts typically between 7:30am and 9:30pm, receive full paid training, and benefit from ongoing development as you support individuals recovering after hospital stays to live independently at home.

Our Support at Home service runs 24/7, 365 days a year, with shifts typically between 7:30am and 9:30pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays as part of a rota. As part of our Reablement Team, you'll support people who are recovering after a hospital stay or facing new challenges, helping them regain skills, confidence, and independence within their own homes.
As a Reablement Support Worker, you'll get to know each person individually supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing, assisting with everyday tasks or personal care, and working to the goals set out in their personalised, strengths-based reablement plan. It's meaningful, hands-on work where you can see the impact you make.
