Job summary

Altogether Care is seeking Reablement Workers in Totnes to help clients regain independence in their own homes. You will work across South Devon, delivering person-centred support and enabling clients to set and achieve their goals with empathy and professionalism.

The role offers flexible shifts, full training, a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for progression within a trusted family-run care company. Driving is required, and DBS checks are standard.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
• Experience within reablement work is welcome but full training provided.
• Caring, proactive attitude with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients in their own homes to help regain independence.
• Set meaningful goals with clients and identify steps to achieve them.
• Provide physical and emotional support, encouraging participation in daily living activities.
• Monitor progress and report outcomes; maintain records using the mobile care app.
• Identify safeguarding needs and act in line with policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and professionals to ensure person-centred care.
• Uphold safe working practices in line with company values.
