Herts at Home is seeking an experienced Reablement Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes within the North Herts area. The role focuses on enabling independence after hospital discharge, with a caring, proactive approach and regular evening shifts.

You will work 38 hours weekly, including evenings and at least two weekends per month, to ensure continuity of care and positive client outcomes. DBS and training are provided.

• Carry out moving and assisting techniques specific to the clients needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.

Role: Reablement Care Assistant

Location: Letchworth

Hours : Full Time 38 Hours Per Week.

Mornings 7am - 2pm Evenings 4pm - 10pm. Every other weekend working is required

Pay Rate: £15.53 Per Hour & 40p Per Mile

Herts at Home are a lead care provider working with Hertfordshire county council and we provide care for people living in their own homes in the community.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Care assistant within our Enablement Service in the North Herts area, which covers Royston, Letchworth, Baldock, Hitchin, Stevenage, Knebworth and the surrounding areas.

The service we offer enables people to be safely discharged from hospital, allowing them to return to independence. Your caring and enthusiastic attributes will be welcomed into our friendly team to provide high standards of care to individuals to enable them to remain independent in their own home.

Please note that all applicants must be able to work at least two evenings per week and 2 weekends per month to perform this role successfully.
