CCH in Hertfordshire is recruiting full-time and part-time Care Assistants to support service users across Hertfordshire. You’ll work in communities around Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas, providing care in people’s homes.
You’ll help with personal care, medication, mobility, meals, and daily tasks, while maintaining documentation and supporting family and care teams. Full training is provided; a driving licence and reliable transport are essential for this role.
Pay Rate: £14.60 - £16.00 per hour plus 30p mileage.

What You’ll Be Doing
Every day as a domiciliary Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same - life-changing. You’ll support people to stay independent in their own homes and be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team.
You'll help with:
Providing personal care with dignity and respect – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
Assisting with medication – preparation and administration
Helping with mobility – and using aids/equipment safely
Preparing meals/snacks – and offering mealtime support
Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning
Offering companionship and reassurance – building meaningful relationships
Encourage social engagement and family connections
Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Respond to emergencies safely and effectively
Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
