Dumfries and Galloway Council is recruiting a Health and Social Care Support Worker to join the Reablement Team serving Castle Douglas and Dumfries. The role involves delivering personal care, practical daily tasks and supporting individuals to stay independent at home.

Applicants should hold a current driving licence; PVG scheme updates are required before a formal offer. The post includes shift patterns across meals and bed visits with a dedicated, empathetic team.

Formación

• Current driving licence is an essential requirement for this post.
• PVG Scheme membership or update is required before formal offer.
• Applicants resident outside the UK in the last 5 years must provide police checks.

Responsabilidades

• Promote, support or provide personal care and basic household tasks.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks to maintain health and independence.
• Report and record observations for Service Users.
