Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher for day-to-day or long-term cover in Bradford, with an immediate start. You will deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3/KS4 in a mainstream secondary setting, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs including SEND.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching Religious Education across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum
• Experience adapting lessons to support students with SEND
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

The schools provide a mainstream learning environment for secondary-aged students, with a focus on delivering the curriculum and supporting learners with a range of educational needs.

The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher for day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Religious Education Teacher will be delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, developing students' understanding of different religions and beliefs while adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs, including those with SEND.

The successful Religious Education Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Religious Education across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Religious Education curriculum
• Experience adapting lessons to support students with SEND
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
