Job Title: RE Teacher

Start Date: After October Half Term 2026

Salary: £34,069 - £52,835 per annum (pro rata)

The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic RE Teacher on a full-time basis, starting after October half term and continuing until Christmas, with a strong possibility of the position extending for the remainder of the academic year. The successful RE Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Religious Education lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, encouraging students to develop their understanding of different religions, beliefs and cultures while promoting respect, critical thinking and meaningful classroom discussions.

The successful RE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Religious Education specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for inspiring young people and encouraging an understanding of different faiths, beliefs and cultures
• Strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable approach to working within a supportive school community
