Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher for day-to-day or long-term cover in Bradford, with an immediate start. You will deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3/KS4 in a mainstream secondary setting, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs including SEND.

The role is part-time, on-site in BD1, with flexible working patterns and market-leading pay rates (£150–£190 per day). A dedicated team, CPD opportunities, and a straightforward onboarding process are provided as

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching Religious Education across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum
• Experience adapting lessons to support students with SEND
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Develop students' understanding of different religions and beliefs
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs, including SEND
