Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Religious Education teacher for a full-time, long-term role in Trafford. The ideal candidate is an experienced teacher or ECT ready to contribute to pupil learning and development.

Job description

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and committed

full-time, long-term position at a school in Trafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or confident ECT looking to join a supportive school and make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.

Role

Teaching Religious Education across the relevant key stages
Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and wider school
Encouraging pupils to explore different beliefs, cultures, values and ethical issues

Ideal Candidate

QTS/QTLS or a relevant teaching qualification
Has experience teaching RE within a secondary school setting
Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Is passionate about engaging and inspiring young people
Is reliable, professional and committed to a long-term role
Is available for an immediate start

Pay: £160 – £240 per day, dependent on experience.
