Job summary

Teach South Kent is seeking an RE Teacher to join our network for September 2026 placements in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area. This role covers KS3 and GCSE Religious Studies with some post-16 opportunities, across full-time, part-time, maternity cover and supply positions.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent teaching experience, demonstrate strong RE knowledge, classroom management, and an engaging teaching style.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching at secondary level.
• Confidence teaching GCSE.
• Strong classroom management.
• An engaging and thoughtful approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Studies to KS3 and GCSE.
• Deliver lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of student behaviour and progress.
