Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Rapid Integration Engineer to accelerate hardware-software convergence on unmanned vehicles. You will prototype, integrate sensors and control systems, and drive iterative testing across cross-functional teams to deliver early-stage autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Deep knowledge of open source autopilot systems and ArduPilot stack.
• Willingness to travel for project planning, testing, and execution.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, laser cutting, and composites.
• RC pilot with VTOL and jet UAS experience.
• Fundamentals of aerodynamics, flight performance, structures, electrical, and GNC.
• Understanding of UAS operating regulations.
• Experience operating and developing small UAS/drones.
• Strong engineering principles and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• UK SC clearance eligibility.
• Ability to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, construction, and testing of UAS prototypes.
• Integrate hardware onto unmanned vehicles with sensors and control systems.
• Integrate electronic components and ensure seamless communication between hardware and software systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to prototype and test solutions.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends to drive innovation.
• Document design processes and maintain detailed engineering records.
