Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United Kingdom is seeking a Rapid Integration Engineer to lead rapid prototyping and integration of hardware and software onto unmanned vehicles. You will work with cross-functional teams to iterate on autonomous systems and test early-stage prototypes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, hands-on experience with open source autopilots (ArduPilot), and a willingness to travel for project planning, testing, and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with open source autopilot systems and ArduPilot stack.
• Willingness to travel for project planning, testing, and execution.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, laser cutting, composites.
• Proficient RC pilot with VTOL and jet UAS experience.
• Understanding of aerodynamics, flight, structures, E, and GNC.
• Knowledge of UAS regulations and small UAS operation.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, construction, and testing of UAS prototypes.
• Integrate hardware onto unmanned vehicles and ensure hardware-software communication.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to prototype solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality.
• Document design processes and maintain engineering records.
