Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Rapid Integration Engineer to join the Test and Evaluation team. You will lead integration of hardware and software onto unmanned vehicles, driving rapid prototyping and iterative development of autonomous systems.

As a senior candidate, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams, execute test plans, and document results to ensure performance and reliability across Anduril’s UAS platforms. Travel may be required for planning and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of open source autopilot systems, ArduPilot stack.
• Willingness to travel for project planning and testing.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, laser cutting, and composites.
• Certified RC pilot with VTOL and jet UAS experience.
• Understanding of aerodynamics, flight performance, structures, electrical, and GNC.
• Knowledge of UAS operating regulations.
• Experience operating, testing, and developing small UAS or drones.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, willing extended hours.
• UK SC clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, construction, and testing of UAS prototypes.
• Integrate hardware onto unmanned vehicles.
• Integrate electronics and ensure hardware-software communication.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations.
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Document design processes and test results.
• Stay current with industry trends.
