Job summary

Wheatley Homes East is seeking a Rapid Response Operative in Bilston. The role delivers a rapid response service including void works, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and high standards of customer service. 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, permanent contract.

The successful candidate will have domestic property experience, knowledge of CDM 2015, a full UK driving licence, and excellent communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working in domestic properties.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and CDM 2015.
• Demonstrates high standards of customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise under pressure.
• IT literate – email and smartphone.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Experience carrying out small void works and property preparation.

Responsibilities

• Void cleans, clearances and related tasks.
• Provide reliable, skilled rapid response service.
• Work in local areas delivering void response and support housing teams.
• Maintain customer excellence around communication, appointments, right first time, and make safe.
• Carry out duties in compliance with legislation and building regulations.
