Job summary

Swissport in Belfast City Airport is hiring a Ramp Agent on a part-time basis. You will assist with loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshal aircraft, and operate ground service equipment to support safe, on-time aircraft handling.

The role requires a flexible schedule (min 25 hours/week, including weekends and evenings), a valid UK manual driving licence, and the ability to pass a background check. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Must possess a valid FULL UK MANUAL driver's license and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates, ensuring safe and precise positioning.
• Operate ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts safely.
• Perform aircraft servicing tasks including cabin cleaning, lavatory servicing, and water replenishment.
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including aircraft marshalling signals and hazardous material handling guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and airline partners.
