Zusammenfassung

WSP, a leading global engineering consultancy, is seeking a Planning Engineer to join our PMCM team in the UK. You'll develop and maintain robust programmes across major rail and transport infrastructure projects, collaborating with project managers, engineers and delivery partners.

You'll work within a collaborative team of 500+ UK professionals, contributing to the lifecycle from development through construction, applying project controls, EVM and schedule narratives.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in planning & scheduling regional Rail and Transport infrastructure projects across development, design, consents/approvals, procurement, and construction phases.
• Developing project schedules from first principles, the utilisation of dependencies for schedule integration, using industry-standard planning and scheduling software.
• Experience working as part of an integrated project team, supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure or capital delivery projects.
• Understanding of project delivery lifecycles, programme management principles and applying project controls methodologies including EVM.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret project data and produce basis of schedule and schedule narrative documents.
• Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills, with the experience to facilitate planning workshops with multi-disciplinary project/client teams.
• Experience of programme reporting, and the production of L2/L3 summaries.
• Experience in managing schedule changes, risk management/QSRA, NEC3/4 schedule acceptance/assurance, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
