Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Rail Systems Coordinator based in Milton Keynes to lead interfaces for Rail Systems and NTSN, chairing integration and design reviews and producing minutes with contractual and technical detail.

You will manage action trackers, coordinate with client, design, construction and assurance teams, draft technical queries, handle change events, and support approval body reviews for NTSN, ensuring traceability and timely resolutions.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
Experience in design coordination/management (Previous HS2 experience desirable but not mandatory).
Experience in infrastructure or civil engineering projects, ideally in a major project environment.
Familiarity with Rail Systems and NTSN Disciplines
Understanding of NEC contract mechanism (Early Warnings, Technical queries etc.).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to produce high-quality documentation and technical records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint, Smart Connect).
Experience with assurance processes and document control.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead stakeholder interfaces for Rail Systems and National Technical Specification Notices (NTSN), including chairing key meetings.
Produce comprehensive meeting minutes capturing decisions and agreements in contractual and technical terms.
Maintain and manage action trackers and issue logs, ensuring timely resolution and evidence-based closeout.
Collaborate with client teams while advocating for best-for-project outcomes across design, construction and assurance teams.
Draft and manage technical queries and contractual communications; knowledge of Early Warnings, general communications and change events.
Support production and maintenance of interface management plans and ensure assurance processes are followed.
Review short-notice construction changes, assess Rail Systems and NTSN impacts, coordinate resolutions.
Oversee development of interface control documents during design close-out and coordinate approvals for construction-stage development and NTSN.
