Hitachi Rail GTS UK Limited is seeking a Systems Engineer to support bids and projects within the Signalling and Rail Solutions business in the UK. You will design, develop and maintain systems meeting client needs, working with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, testability, reliability and performance of products and solutions.

The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week from the London, Birmingham or Cheadle offices.

Qualificações

• Experience in Systems development with engineering principles.
• Experience in rail-related technical disciplines is beneficial.
• Ability to use system engineering tools for requirements management.
• Understanding of project delivery and engineering methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with project teams to translate requirements into specifications.
• Identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and engineering issues.
• Develop interfaces and system specifications; produce test plans with IVVQ.
• Support delivery managers with progress, risks and changes.
