Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is seeking a Rail Sales Coordinator at our Head Office in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. You will coordinate customer enquiries, manage sales opportunities and maintain CRM data to support business growth.

Responsibilities include tracking follow-ups, preparing quotations, and delivering timely, professional responses in collaboration with the Rail team and other departments.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and follow-ups.
• Confident written and verbal communication with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Initiative to identify outstanding actions and keep work progressing.
• Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience would be an advantage.
• Confidence working with data, dashboards, reports and commercial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries: monitor inbox and calls, direct opportunities to the team.
• Coordinate sales opportunities: track follow-ups, allocate actions, set reminders.
• Maintain CRM accuracy: update records, stages, values and dates.
• Reporting and analysis: dashboards, KPI data for weekly meetings and forecasting.
• Support quotations: prepare standard quotes and documentation.
• Improve customer communication: maintain templates and documentation.
• Coordinate meetings and actions, ensuring follow-ups are completed.
• Collaborate with Order Management and other departments as opportunities progress.
