Job summary

Arriva Rail London is seeking Revenue Security Officers to maintain security for trains and station environments. You will provide a high-visibility presence, assist in revenue blocks, perform ticket checks, and support ARL initiatives while delivering excellent public customer service.

The role involves early starts and late finishes with shift patterns discussed at interview, and a strong emphasis on safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• SIA DS Licence required.
• Minimum 5 years of checkable work history.
• Ability to meet Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme requirements.
• Experience in a network rail environment preferred.
• Strong people and communication skills; reliable and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high visibility reassurance patrols on ARL network.
• Complete paperwork in accordance with contractual obligations and Transport for London requirements.
• Assist ARL staff with security incidents, evacuations, or accidents.
• Liaise with emergency services and log incidents with correct details.
• Carry out on-train ticket checks and support with police initiatives.
• Maintain access control to ARL premises and monitor for ticketless travel.
• Provide accurate information to the public and ARL staff.
• Support revenue checks on trains and stations.
