Job summary

Hitachi Rail UK Limited is seeking a motivated Refuelling Operative for Bounds Green Train Maintenance Centre, London. The role involves servicing trains, refuelling, and maintaining safety standards while working a rotating night shift.

Permanent contract with a competitive salary and additional allowances. Relevant NVQ-level qualifications are preferred, with on-site work at Bounds Green. You will join a team focused on reliable train operations.

Qualifications

• Awareness or experience of safe working practices and PPE use.
• Experience in maintenance, engineering, rail or logistics.
• Good awareness of workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Replenish diesel and AdBlue and service toilets and galley systems.
• Record all servicing and materials in MMS.
• Carry out daily checks of service spine equipment and keep area tidy.
• Support maintenance staff with corrective and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure proper labeling and return of materials to stores.
