Hitachi Rail UK Limited is seeking enthusiastic Maintenance Technicians to join a rotating day and night shift at the North Pole Train Maintenance Centre in London. This entry-level opportunity offers training, stability, and a clear path in rail maintenance within a global organisation.

The role covers scheduled maintenance on the Class 800 fleet, driving duties within depot limits, and active participation in safety, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Completed apprenticeship in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines.
• Engineering NVQ Level 2 o3 (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled maintenance on the rolling stock in accordance with maintenance instructions.
• Undertake servicing and preparation of the rolling stock.
• Undertake driving duties within depot procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for maintenance processes.
• Support the delivery of new trains and maintenance acceptance processes.
• Record work activities and stock consumption using the maintenance management system.
