Greater Anglia is seeking a Platform Supervisor at Tottenham Hale Station to lead a station team, ensure safety and punctual dispatch, and deliver excellent passenger service.

The role is shift-based, averaging 35 hours weekly, with early starts and late finishes, including nights. It requires a compulsory 5-day Dispatch training course, DBS check, and 18+ eligibility. You must arrange your own transport for shifts.

Qualificações

• You will be working on average of 35 hours per week. This role is shift-based and includes early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holiday working. Earliest start time, 0625 and latest finish time 2215. Night shifts will be 21:45-06:45.
• You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts.
• This role includes a compulsory 5-day Dispatch training course at our Stratford Academy, followed by a final assessment.
• Applicants must be over 18 years of age
• Employment is subject to satisfactory Right to Work checks, a DBS check, and a safety‑critical medical assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a welcoming and inclusive customer experience by proactively assisting passengers on and off trains, including supporting mobility and visually impaired customers with guidance and boarding assistance, deploying ramps, helping with luggage, and operating station wheelchairs as needed.
• You will be responsible for managing the station team in all matters regarding safety, security, and safe punctual dispatch of trains, whilst working in accordance with the rule book and operational standards.
• Collaborate with Drivers and Conductors to ensure smooth communication and service.
• Comply with safety regulations, reporting faults and hazards as necessary, as you will be responsible for the safe and punctual dispatch of trains. You’ll be invited to a 5-day Dispatch course.
• Collaborate with other areas of the business when required to ensure operational efficiency, whilst providing support and assistance to customers during disruption.
• Are comfortable working independently, as this role includes periods of lone working.
