Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking an MEP Technical Supervisor to join the Rail team on nationwide projects. You will oversee the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of M&E installations on construction sites, acting as the on-site client representative to ensure works align with drawings and standards.

As the link between the Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors, you will coordinate testing, commissioning, and site documentation to deliver projects on time and to required

Qualifications

• Requires technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience in M&E building services/installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of building regs, standards, and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee M&E installations on construction projects to meet specifications and standards.
• Conduct routine and ad hoc inspections ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain detailed site records: inspection reports, site instructions, progress photos.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities to verify system performance against design.
• Coordinate between Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors for smooth execution.
