Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a senior Mechanical Building Services leader for the Rail business. The role focuses on technical leadership, governance, and assurance across Rail, reporting to the UK Rail MEP Service Lead.

You will drive technical excellence, capability deployment, and growth across the discipline while maintaining quality and safety across projects. The successful candidate will combine strong engineering judgment with excellent communication and stakeholder management to

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a recognised professional institution.
• Extensive Rail infrastructure experience and knowledge of NR, TfL, LUL standards.

• Technical leadership and governance across the discipline.
• Technical authority with high-profile projects; develop technical talent and promote best practice.
• Deliver safety leadership through applicable standards and compliance; support clients and teams.
