Job summary

Siemens Mobility is hiring Commercial Managers to support UKI rail and infrastructure projects on a hybrid basis with in-office presence. The role focuses on commercial delivery, cost control, and client interfaces across major projects with leading rail organisations.

You will work within the Rail Infrastructure business, collaborating with project management, engineering, and finance teams to drive successful commercial outcomes and risk mitigation. Opportunities for progression exist.

Qualifications

• Experience in rail, engineering, defence, construction, IT or similar project-based industry.
• Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Opportunity to work towards or hold a professional membership such as RICS, CICES.
• Experience collaboratively managing multiple stakeholders across project delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project and work package change control and management.
• Present periodic project commercial performance to stakeholders.
• Provide key commercial interface for responsible work package manager.
• Supply contractual & commercial support to Project Managers and Engineering teams.
• Manage work package costs including forecasting, budgeting and control.
• Monitor and mitigate work package risks.
• Contribute to internal/external commercial reports per Commercial Delivery Strategy.
• Ensure contract administration complies with company standards.
• Maintain leadership interfaces with clients, subcontractors, project management, engineering and finance teams.
• Keep auditable records for responsible work packages per contract requirements.
