York And Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiology Services Administrator to join our busy administrative team across Scarborough Hospital, Malton Hospital, Bridlington Hospital and the Community Diagnostic Centre in Eastfield, Scarborough. This fast-paced role requires excellent problem-solving, organisational skills, and a strong commitment to confidentiality.

You will support patient pathways in Radiology, manage diaries and appointments, process

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths and English
• Desirable criteria: ECDL Qualification
• Experience of clerical work and working in a team
• Experience with patient administration systems and Microsoft packages
• Customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times following Trust guidelines
• Manage patients through Radiology admin processes and pathways
• Process diary cancellations and support waiting time targets
• Collect and record data to support waiting list times and breach reporting
• Manage appointments to meet maximum waiting times in order
• Support patients at outpatient appointments and handle queries
• Follow up DNAs according to SOPs
• Prioritise day-to-day workflow and adjust lists as needed
• Manage diaries to ensure sessions are fully utilised
• Train new Radiology department staff
