Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor to support the Sensor Systems portfolio across training product lifecycle, delivering operator and maintainer courses in Fareham, UK and at customer sites globally.

The role requires travel up to 3 weeks per event, experience with radar or electronic systems, teaching ability, full UK driving licence, and national security vetting to SC level, with opportunity to develop within Saab.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous military experience or exposure.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally; up to 3 weeks per training event.
• Full UK driving licence.
• National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or ability to gain it.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems.
• Compile, analyse and respond to student feedback.
• Provide SME advice on system and software development.
• Support demonstrations, trials, and market growth activities.
