Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team is offering a 1-year Validation Design & Test Student Placement in Enstone. You will support design and development of mechanical components and assemblies, work with designers on CAD modelling, validation, and documentation to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with analytics, manufacturing, and vehicle integration teams, contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement, with a focus on manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and in your penultimate year.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD software in a design context.
• Familiarity with design for manufacture and mechanical systems.
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Available to attend onsite assessment centre in September.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of mechanical components using CAD software.
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with analysis, manufacturing, and vehicle integration teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
• Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
