Job summary

Alpine Racing UK is seeking a Mechanical/Automotive/Motorsport Engineering student for a 1-year placement at Enstone. You will assist in designing mechanical components, model with CAD, and contribute to design validation, documentation, and compliance with F1 requirements.

Working with senior engineers, you will help drive performance, reliability, and manufacturability across assemblies while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of mechanical components using CAD software.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with analysis, manufacturing, and vehicle integration teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
• Help ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
